I headed out in the slush and rain to meet up with .... let's call her Jill... She was the very first person to book a boudoir session with me after Jane's photos went up almost a month ago. Thanks Jill!(do you like your name.... it's not Jane hehehe).

I spoke briefly with her on the phone last night and I knew it was going to be a great shoot when she told me about some of the ideas she had... and when she showed up with a garment bag full of clothes and shoes and jewelry I realized just how great it truly was going to be!

Because this is a gift for a certain someone special I can't show Jill's face tonight... but once the "little black book" has been delivered I get to show you some of my most favorite images ever...let's just say Jill nailed it! (hey now! no inappropriate jokes.)

Your session can be as racy as you want it to be or as tame, you decide what you are comfortable with and we will create a session that you will love!

Maine Maternity and Newborn Photographer {new sessions}

I have been promising more newness and here it is!!! Windy Hill Photography will now be offering Maternity and Newborn sessions! Maternity can be either on location or in the studio and Newborn will be in studio or at your home.

Maternity sessions will last about 1 hour and will include as many clothing changes as you would like and will result in a gallery of approximately 20 images to choose from. These sessions have a 100.00 session fee that does not include any prints or products. All prints may be purchased when you view your gallery.

Of course your spouse/significant other is welcome to join you during your session.
One of my biggest regrets is not having had any photos of my belly any of the three times I was pregnant. By the time I was showing I just didn't feel up to having those photos done but now I SO wish I had them to look back on and remember. A session with me will be fun(it's always fun) and will make you feel beautiful(because you are!) and you will end up with a gorgeous keepsake of this very important time in your life.

So what happens after the maternity session... why a newborn session, of course! Newborn sessions will last up to 4 hours but can be as short as 1 hour... it all depends on how the baby is feeling but rest assured you will get a gallery full(15-20 photos) of beautiful photos of your new baby. From those sweet baby lips to their tiny little hands and feet I will document every little detail of your precious new little one .  150.00 in studio 175.00 at your home, session fee does not include any prints or products.

So you want a maternity and a newborn session.. if you choose to book both you will save 25.00 making the total price of your two sessions 225.00(250.00 if you choose to have your newborn session in your home).

You will get even more savings if you choose to go with the Belly to Baby package!

Belly to Baby package includes:

1 full maternity session

5 digital files from your maternity session with a 5x7 or 8x10 print of each file.

1 full newborn session in my studio or at your home(add 25.00 for this option)

5 digital files from your newborn session with a 5x7 or 8x10 print of each file.

1 11x14 mounted print from either session

digital files come with reprint rights for your own private use

Total value is 1150.00 but as a thank you to you for committing to both sessions and the collections you will receive the whole package for 750.00!

PS. Just a couple notes about maternity and newborn sessions. For your maternity session it is best to have your session after your 6th month so you are showing and before you get too uncomfortable usually sometime in the middle to end of your 8th month.

Newborn sessions are for babies birth to 2 weeks old, this is when they are still very sleepy and when we will be able to get the best photos of them.

Maine Pet Photographer {izzy and belle}

Meet our new puppy Belle!

She flew into Logan airport on Wednesday night all the way from Richmond, VA. It was love at first site(how could it not be?).

We have been having a great time remembering just what it's like to have a puppy in the house. She has not yet destroyed anything but does love shoes.

Yesterday we took Belle and Izzy to the studio to get a few fun photos of them. Lucky for us Belle was absolutely exhausted so did pretty much whatever we asked and Izzy will do anything for us, such a good dog!

Maine Children's Photographer {all about you mini sessions}

Are the themed sessions not quite your style...do you prefer clean and classic? Then the All About You mini sessions are perfect for you!

All About You sessions are just that, they put the emphasis on your child and only your child, no props, no fun backgrounds, just a girl(or a boy) and the camera. Simple, clean, classic!

These mini sessions will be offered only twice a year once in late winter/early spring and once in the fall. :)

Blake and Olive can show you how great these sessions are so much better than I can describe them!

Session is for 1-2 children and will last 15 minutes. You will have 5-8 poses to choose from in a private online gallery and you will receive an 8x10 and 2- 5x7's all of the same pose of your choice. 100.00

You can upgrade your 8x10 to an 11x14 print mounted on styrene and spray coated for extra longevity for 50.00 more.

These sessions are great for any child 2 years or older, contact me for more information for session for little ones younger than 2. :)

Maine Children's Photographer {Valentine's Mini Session}

Valentine's themed mini sessions are here!

Where: Main St Damariscotta, ME Suite 1(upstairs of the Narragansett Leather building)

 What: 15 minutes, 5-8 poses to choose from in a private online gallery, 1- 8x10 and a set of 24 wallets for giving as Valentine's OR 2-5x7's (all of the same pose). 100.00

When: Now until the 2/6

Who: 1-2 children

Blake and Olive had a blast getting their photos done! We jumped on the bed, ran around in circles and at the end of it all got to choose a treasure out of the treasure box! The studio is the perfect place to photograph active little ones, there is only so far they can run(hehe).
